Maureen A. Banyan

Maureen A. Banyan was born and raised in Singapore and immigrated to the United States in 1977 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1986.

She has a strong background in business management.   Prior to becoming the General Manager of the Banyan Hypnosis Center, Maureen owned and operated her own restaurant for about 4 years and spent five years in Thailand, as the General Manager of a manufacturing facility in Thailand with over 3,000 employees.   She helped grow this company from 250 employees to 3,000+ within the 5 years she was in charge.  In this capacity, she managed and administrated the daily operations of the facility, negotiated with Union leaders, was responsible in helping the company become profitable.

Maureen is best known for her strong organizational and business management skills.  She has a flare for working with others and is a great asset to any organization she works with.

• Chairwoman – Chinese American Dance Theater (MN) 1997-2003
