Welcome to the 2012 Health Freedom Congress!
The 2012 Health Freedom Congress will convene on June 14, 2012, bringing together 40 health freedom organizations from across the nation and their trusted leaders. The leaders will join together for a one day Congress in the round, followed by an evening health freedom awards banquet with keynote speaker Robert Scott Bell. The Congress will take place the day before the Chicago Health Freedom Expo, and is located at the same hotel. There are 60 seats available for Observers of this event.
The night before the Congress, all registered attendees are invited to a Meet and Greet Health Freedom Advocates networking event. This event will conclude with a special screening of Gary Null’s new 90-minute documentary titled The Power of Tyranny: Inside the FDA.
The 2012 United States Health Freedom Congress is the 7th national health freedom gathering hosted by NHFC, including: three National Health Freedom Conferences (2003, 2004, and 2005); the World Health Freedom Assembly (2006); the United States Health Freedom Assembly and Leadership Training (2007); and the Reconvening of the US Health Freedom Assembly (2008).
Similar to former Assemblies, the Congress will be facilitated by NHFC Moderators, Documentarians, and Parliamentarians. Voting members will be seated at tables in the format of a large circle, each table with microphone, to facilitate productive discussions in a face to face manner.
This Congress is being reconvened one day before the Chicago Health Freedom Expo 2012. We are delighted to be able to be part of the Expo experience.
How Many People Can Attend the Congress?
Original planning includes 40 Congress Voting Members seated in the Congress Round, and 60 additional chairs for Congress Observers. Additional accommodations will be negotiated if there is a need.
What is a Congress Voting Member?
NHFC has invited organizations promoting health freedom in the U.S. to be Congress Voting Members. These members will convene on June 14th and sit "in the round" where they will share their strengths and campaigns with each other and strategize ways to work together, strengthening the health freedom movement through unity and solidarity. Congress Voting Members will have the opportunity to vote on resolutions, as well as to submit potential resolutions prior to the Congress, and to contribute to the process of development of resolutions to ultimately be brought forward for deliberation.
What is a Congress Observer?
There are 60 seats available for Observers of this event. Observers will be seated in a circle directly behind and surrounding the Congress. Observers are welcome at the Meet and Greet, and they will have full observation access to the Congress proceedings. They will not have microphone access or be able to vote or to participate in the deliberations of the Congress unless requested to by the Congress itself. Conference Prices
Observer tuition is $45 for day-time program and additional $60 for the evening banquet. You can register for the conference online, over the phone, or by mail.
Congress Observer – Full Package ($105 per person)
As an Observer to the Congress, you will have a seat in a circle surrounding the main assembly where you can listen and observe first-hand discussions with top health freedom organizations. Included in your registration is the Meet and Greet on Wednesday night, an Observer seat at the full Congress on Thursday from 8AM to 5:30PM, and the Health Freedom Awards Banquet and Keynote presentation on Thursday night at 6PM. Lunch on Thursday will not be provided.
Congress Observer – Daytime Only ($45 per person)
This option gives all the same benefits of the Congress Assembly Observer - Full Package except for the dinner on Thursday night. If you choose this option, you will not attend the dinner on Thursday night.
Travel Information
Hotel accommodations are available at a group rate for all participants through the hotel directly and should be booked early to ensure a spot. The conference will be held at the Marriott Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. Please note that many people will be reserving rooms for the Health Freedom Expo that begins the day after the Congress.
